Welcome back my little ghouls and goblins, or witches and warlocks. . . whatever it is that you prefer. Personally, I’d be a little witch. If you haven’t already caught on, it is officially Spooky Season and I couldn’t be more thrilled. As I write this post it is the day after our wonderful Friday the 13th with a beautiful harvest moon. This will get to you much later, but this is when I am officially full Halloween mode. In other words, the best time of the year (do you think I like Halloween?).

First off, let’s talk about that harvest moon. If you didn’t get the chance to check it out, let me just tell you, it was beautiful. In fact, it even looked a little bit spooky. The clouds were formed around it in a way that made it look smokey, truly beautiful. So what did I do on Friday the 13th during a harvest moon? I did what any true Halloween lover would do and I turned on Hocus Pocus. Because, let’s be honest, Hocus Pocus is by far the best non-scary Halloween movie that there is. It’s a classic, and if you disagree, well. . . you’re just wrong ;).

Anyways, this post won’t be super long. I wanted to open up the page for suggestions and I just wanted to prepare you for all of the Spooky themed posts to come. So, I will be decorating, maybe visiting a few pumpkin patches, going to haunted houses, pulling out my fall sweaters, making Halloween themed food, oh and stay tuned for our trip back to the Quad Cities in true fall fashion. If you have anything that you would like to see me talk about, feel free to let me know in the comments below. I’ll include some how to’s, some outfit ideas and maybe I’ll get to let you guys know about some Halloween theme parks around here. We shall see.

In other words, BEWARE. It’s about to get a little spooky in here. In all seriousness, it’s my favorite time of year so i’m going to let that shine in my future posts! Stay tuned and don’t forget to subscribe my entering you e-mail at the bottom of this page!

Love, Victoria
